On-Line Exhibition
Introduction
Welcome to the On-Line exhibition for the Royal Academy
of Arts Outreach Programme.
These 80 drawings have been selected
from the thousands of drawings produced every year in the workshops of
the Outreach Proramme.
The selection is made to give the viewer an idea of
what the workshops provide for students - a unique opportunity for their
individual creativity and an insight into the role that drawing may play
in the development of that creativity.

The on-line exhibition is a compliment to the
exhibition "alive: Life drawings from the Royal Academy
of Arts & Yakult Outreach Programme", which toured galleries
in the UK
after its first staging at the RA in March 2000.
Catalogue
A full colour 48 page catalogue for alive is available by mail order
(order details below). The catalogue includes an Introduction by Lorna
Smith, an essay Charlotte Steel on the work of the programme in Primary
Schools and a discussion piece by Paul Brandford - "Drawing Dilemmas".
